Even more Peculiar is that Starfield also has the single highest one month article count for a game title on Game Sentiment*, with 1,148 articles in September 2023 during its launch. This is likely a combination of the hype built by its developer, Bethesda Studios, plus the prestige that the game developer holds.

It was first to be delivered in November of 2022, but was pushed back to September of 2023 following Microsofts aquisition of Bethesda. After years of waiting and little game play releases, players were wuick to delve into the world of Starfield. However, despite widespread aclaim from critics, players were quick to criticism the games slow pace and constant parade of load screens to journey to just one location.

At the moment, it is unknown whether this will be reflected in gaming media going into the future.
